We are looking for individuals willing to volunteer as coordinators with DRT as we assist families impacted by weather related disasters.
Opportunities:
Client Registration – Food and Supply Distribution
Property Cleanup – Facility Rebuild
Housekeeping - Laundry
Volunteers and Community Meal Preparation
Office Assistance - Data Processing – Communication
Volunteer Coordinator Positions:
The following positions are oversite of volunteers working in the respective areas.
*Registration-Distribution Coordinator – Oversee volunteers and church members in the collection of data and distribution of supplies.
*Property Assessment Coordinator – Manages the damage assessment, determines remediation work on property, communicates with crew coordinator and homeowner.
*Crew Coordinator – Prepares work orders based on damage assessment and remediation plans, assigns individual crews to specific projects, and oversees their progress.
*Hospitality Coordinator – Coordinate volunteer arrivals and departures, oversees volunteers in housekeeping and laundry areas in the building and in laundry and shower trailers.
*Tool Trailer Coordinator – Oversee tool trailer organization, manage check in/out and report needed repairs.
*Food Coordinator – Oversee menu, necessary food inventory and purchases. Oversee volunteer cooks and facility cleanliness.
*Office Coordinator – Proficient in data processing programs including volunteers and clients. Manage collection of data, updating records, and reporting to various Coordinators.
These positions are sometimes combined depending on the need and size of the disaster.
Training will be provided on each of these positions.
