OPPORTUNITY CLOSED:
TORNADO IN LONDON, KY
May 16, 2025

OPPORTUNITY CLOSED: 5/29/2025: After talking to the city emergency management office, we have found that the clean-up is done. With nothing for us to do here we have made the decision to cancel our effort here in London, KY. We hope you will volunteer with us again in the future.
Friday, May 16, 2025 a tornado ripped through the town of London, KY. Massive destruction was left in the wake. We, the Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team, are going in to help the families that were left devasted.

We will be working out of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ in London, KY, and our volunteers will be housed at the 19th Street Church of Christ in Corbin, KY.
We will begin accepting volunteers on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Please do not arrive before that date as we will not be ready for your arrival. We will begin working Friday, May 30, 2025.

One very important thing to know is that due to extremely limited space we ask that you do not bring an RV unless you contact us first and get express permission. Also, due to logistics, we cannot accept volunteer arrivals after 10:00PM. Please plan accordingly.

If you are able, please come help us help others.
As always, please keep all the people that were affected by this extremely damaging tornado in your prayers.
