ALABAMA TORNADOS... AGAIN
BIRMINGHAM (AREA), ALABAMA- 1/26/12
The Mayor of Center Point, AL has asked DRT to come in and take over the relief effort for the city so we have now set up a 3rd relief site. DRT volunteers have been working hard registering tornado survivors for help, registering all volunteers, as well as tarping roofs, doing chain saw work and clean up.
We are running across many who have no insurance so we will be helping with building material and household supplies, etc. for those in need of that type of assistance as long as funds hold out.
We are in DESPERATE need of funds for this disaster as well as being prepared for disasters the remainder of the year.
Funding as well as volunteers are needed. Please click on the volunteer link to register. Donations can be made through PayPal to the right or sent to the DRT home office.
